The European Single Market, is it still an asset?

A thematic chapter on “Europe and the economy” opens this week with an article by Fabienne Ilzkovitz, Professor of economics at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Managment, ULB. 

According to Prof. Ilzkovitz the European Single Market is certainly an asset for European businesses. But more than thirty years after its creation, how can we revitalise it while taking into account the new challenges facing the European Union?
