The Institute for European Studies of the Université libre de Bruxelles is pleased to announce the Second IEE-UNED forum, that will focus on the perspectives for the European Union after the 2019 elections.

Perspectives after the 2019 EU elections

The debate will revolve around the future of the Union after Europeans cast their ballots in 2019. Academics, practitioners and students will gather on November 23rd, at the IEE-ULB, to discuss this topic.

The forum will be organized in roundtables addressing issues like:

  • 2019 European elections: what citizens want from the European Union?
  • How to make the EU ‘greener’ after 2019? The challenges of environmental policies
  • Transatlantic dialogue: issues at stake
