The event

The Institute for European Studies (IEE-ULB) and the CEVIPOL organise a launch-debate on “Teaching and Theorising European politics in times of crisis,” on 25 March at the IEE-ULB. The event will focus on key issues in European governance, including how EU institutions and policies have changed as a result of multiple crises the EU has been facing since 2008 and how the crisis of European integration could be conceptualized.

As the co-editors of two recent publications in European Studies, namely “Governance and Politics in the Post-Crisis European Union” (Cambridge University Press, 2020) and “Theorising the Crises of the European Union” (Routledge, 2021), Ramona Coman, Amandine Crespy, Nathalie Brack and Seda Gürkan (ULB) will present the main findings of these edited volumes and discuss the main features of European integration and disintegration in troubled times.
