Synopsis of the movie

In Poland, the independence of the judiciary has been seriously threatened since the coming to power of Law and Justice, a far-right party. Magistrates who do not toe the government line risk unemployment or prison. But rather than toeing the line, many choose to disobey. One of them is Judge Igor Tuleya, the face of the protest movement, who leads battles both inside and outside the courtrooms. His dark humor brings a touch of lightness to an extremely serious situation. Indeed, a true constitutional horror story is taking place in this EU Member State.
