Session in honour of Prof. Jean-Louis Quermonne:

Contribution to the preparation of the conference on the future of the European Union

Professor Mario Telo and the Institute for European Studies pay tribute to the memory of Professor Jean-Louis Quermonne, a jurist and political scientist and friend of the ULB Institute for European Studies.

The event will be held in French and in two parts. The first part will consist of brief testimonies and a second part will take the form of a scientific discussion on Jean-Louis Quermonne’s thinking, from politics compared to EU studies.

Prof. Olivier Costa, Director of the Department of European Political Studies and Governance, College of Europe.
Prof. Janine Goetschy, Researcher at the CNRS and Professor at the IEE until 2015.
Prof. Jean-Victor Louis, Professor emeritus of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and President emeritus of the IEE of the ULB.
Prof. Paul Magnette, Professor at the ULB, former Director of the IEE of the ULB, President of the Socialist Party (PS) and Mayor of Charleroi.
Prof. Sabine Saurugger, Professor of Universities in Political Science and Director of Sciences Po Grenoble.
Prof. Mario Telò, Professor at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and at the ULB and President emeritus of the IEE.
