On March 27, 2023, the Institut d’études européennes of the ULB hosts the international conference “Crossed Views on the Digital Service Marketplace in Japan and in Europe”.
About the conference
The conference focuses on the developments of Japanese and European law in the face of the new challenges posed by the digital service marketplace for consumer protection and, more generally, for the protection of fundamental rights. Professors from the Digital Law Center of Doshisha University (Kyoto) will exchange with professors from the Perelman Centre of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The conference will be opened by Professor Anne Weyembergh, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the ULB. It is kindly supported by the Institute for European Studies (ULB) and the Consumer Affairs Agency of Japan.
