Appel à candidatures pour doctorants - projet GEM STONES

GEM-STONES (Globalisation, Europe and Multilateralism - Sophistication of the Transnational Order, Networks and
European Strategies) est un Doctorat Européen Conjoint Marie Curie qui étudie l'impact de la complexification du système mondial sur la capacité de l’UE à interagir avec le monde. Un appel à candidatures est lancé pour 15 doctorants.

The GEM STONES common research agenda is rooted in the shared observation that the proliferation of international institutions increases the complexity of the global system; managing the latter effi ciently and fairly constitutes both a necessity and a challenge for the European Union.

In response to this shared observation and with the support the European Commission’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie
Action, GEM-STONES will hire 15 Early Stage Researchers (PhD fellows) who with the help of their co-supervisors
and non-academic mentors will collectively investigate 4 dimensions of the EU’s:

➔ Institutional capacity to externalise its policies
➔ Networked capacity to ensure greater policy coherence
➔ Relative capacity compared to other regional organisations
➔ Framing capacity to defi ne appropriate behaviors
