9th Summer School “The EU Area of Criminal Justice”
02 - 06 July 2012
The objective of the Summer School is to provide the participants with an extensive knowledge of EU criminal law. The classes offer both theoretical and practical elements. They are conducted by academics, national experts or European officials coming from European institutions and having an every day practice of the European penal area.
The Summer School is particularly designed for practitioners in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters, EU or national civil servants, as well as researchers and students interested in EU “Freedom, Security and Justice” policies.
Concerning the programme: the duration is for a period of one week, lectures are in English, participants will receive a certificate of attendance, the final examination entitles participants to receive 3 ECTS and lawyers to gain 40 points from the OBFG (Ordre des Barreaux Francophones et Germanophone de Belgique).
